This year, the festivities kick off a day early, offering an extended opportunity to celebrate Cinco de Mayo weekend.

Special Events:

• Viva La Fiesta Futsal Tournament (May 2-5): We are thrilled to announce the inaugural Viva la Fiesta Odessa's Futsal Tournament at our upcoming festival. Over three days, participants and spectators will witness a display of skill, teamwork, and passion for the beautiful game. Futsal is a fast-paced indoor variant of soccer played on a smaller field with five players per team, renowned for its emphasis on skill, quick thinking, and close ball control. Join us as we celebrate athleticism, camaraderie, and the vibrant culture of Viva la Fiesta Odessa like never before.
• Little Miss Fiesta West Texas Performance & Pageant (May 2 & 4): Little Miss Fiesta West Texas is a platform to showcase the promising young talents from the Permian Basin in the world of pageantry. Participants will compete in Formal Wear, Onstage Introduction, and an Interview Question based on their provided bio. The contestants will perform on Thursday, May 2nd, during Viva Fiesta Country Day, with the Pageant scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2024.

• Saturday Parking & Shuttle:  Extra parking will be available at the Odessa Recycling Center/Time Machine on 42nd and N. Golder. Shuttles will run from that parking lot to the Coliseum from the hours of 5 PM - 10 PM on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
