“This adorable gazelle, Juju has been diagnosed with Apraxia of Speech. We want to spread awareness about it. The more we know about it, the better we can manage it.
West Texas Gazelles – Odessa will be doing a 10K walk/jog/run in honor of Juju and his journey in life with Apraxia. It is Apraxia Awareness Day and May is Hearing and Speech Month!
The event will be at UTPB on May 14 at 6:00 am. We will gather at the UTPB parking lot in front of McDonald’s on 42nd St.
With donation of any amount, you will get a refreshing recovery drink called Juju Juice (blueberry with oats protein shake). We will have bananas and water too. Juju will then endorse the donation to the West Texas Food Bank.”
