Show your love for Odessa! Volunteer for upcoming events and help make visitors feel welcome. We are always looking for individuals who have enthusiasm for the city and enjoy connecting with people. You can help visitors create a memorable experience while in Odessa by providing helpful information, welcoming them at their conference and helping them check in, and more fun opportunities.

Discover Odessa VOLUNTEER

  • What type of events and activities need volunteers?
    • Discover Odessa volunteers provide support for events that our office has booked. Occasionally other groups, which sponsor events either in conjunction with DO efforts or that complement DO events, need volunteers.
  • Where do volunteer activities take places? 

    • Depending on the needs of the event, Discover Odessa volunteers may be asked to be at the area hotels or at the convention facilities in the city.

  • What is the attire for DO Volunteers? 

    • Volunteers will be given a “Volunteer” shirt to wear. While volunteering at events, DO volunteers are asked to wear the volunteer shirt and their DO Volunteer name badge. Clean, comfortable athletic shoes are acceptable. Name tags will be provided.

  • How do volunteers find out about upcoming opportunities? 
    • The DO Volunteers Coordinator will contact you directory by telephone as opportunities arise
