First Friday
Downtown Odessa • March 7, April 4, & June 6 • 6-9pm
First Friday ODTX is a free event that draws attendees from all over around the city of Odessa! Every first Friday of the month, Odessa come to life with artist pop ups, local markets, live music, art classes, and local creatives all throughout town. Every First Friday is unique with new and recurring events. You could find a live mural painting or you can be the artist yourself and paint your canvas in a painting class!
Downtown Easter Egg Hunt
Downtown Odessa • April 15 • 10am-6pm
Hop around local businesses participating in the Downtown Easter Egg Hunt! Stop by each location and pick up your eggs and get a chance of winning fun prizes.
Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Sherwood Park • April 19 • 10am – 1pm
The City of Odessa’s Annual Easter Egg hunt is a fun filled day for the family and kids! Get your baskets ready and enjoy a day of your littles hunting for colorful eggs, winning fun prizes, and creating memories with the family or friends!
Viva La Fiesta
Ector County Coliseum • May 2-4
Viva La Fiesta is the biggest Cinco De Mayo festival in West Texas! Get ready for live music with big headliners like Grupo Duelo, Luis Angel “El Flaco”, and La Maquinaria Nortena and more! This festival is fun for all ages – from sea lion shows, shark shows, petting zoo, carnival rides, charreada, Little Miss Fiesta Pageant, and carnival food, you’re in for a fun time with family and friends.
West Texas Jazz Party
Odessa Marriott Hotel & Conference Center • June 5-7
This is the longest running Jazz Party in the United States! Three days of jazz from the talented musicians taking stage in Odessa at the Odessa Marriott. Get ready to throw on your finest outfits, dance the night away, meet the musicians and experience the longest jazz party in history!
Juneteenth 2025
June 18-22
Celebrate freedom and community this Juneteenth in Odessa! From June 18th-22nd, our city will come alive with a powerful and joyous commemoration of this historic day. Witness the power of the Dallas Black Dance Theatre, celebrate local heroes, and be moved by the sounds of gospel and Motown. Participate in community events, reflect on our shared history, and embrace the joy of liberation. This multi-day event offers a blend of cultural performances, athletic competitions, and community gatherings, making it a perfect way to honor history and celebrate freedom.
Parks Legado Farmers Market
Parks Legado Town Center • June 14 • 8am – 12pm
Begin your Saturday morning with your tote bag and pup in hand, while soaking in the West Texas sun, shopping from local artisans, farmers, bakers, and vendors! This event happens every first Saturday of the month from June through October in the Parks Legado Town Center.
