- Fall Festival – Get ready for a frightfully fun-filled day at the Fall Festival in McKinney Park! This free community event is packed with thrills for all ages. From spooky games and thrilling rides to face painting and live entertainment, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
- Dia De Los Muertos Parade & Festival – This is an exciting new event being brought to Odessa, TX that you don’t want to miss out on! Mark your calendars for October 19, 2024. The parade & festival will be an evening dedicated to celebrating life, filled with live music, beautiful procession, arts, and locals eats and drinks in Downtown Odessa. From a vibrant parade filled with artistic beauty of colorful sugar skulls (calaveras) and rich Hispanic heritage, to a festival evening filled with lively music and more.
- Friday Night Lights – The legendary Odessa High vs. Permian football rivalry will take place on October 11 at Ratliff Stadium, the iconic location of the film Friday Night Lights. Feel the electrifying atmosphere. Get your tickets before they’re gone!
- First Fridays ODTX – Every first friday of the month, you can plan to attend First Fridays! At first fridays, you can find vendor markets, art activities for the kids, free art classes, free live music, and so much more! PUMPKIN PATCHES
- PLFM Pumpkin Patch – You’re in for a treat at the Parks Legado Farmers Market & Pumpkin Patch on October 12th! The Parks Legado Farmers Market is a local favorite and tends to set the tone for your Saturday morning bringing in over 6,000 in attendance last year. You will find local shopping from fresh locally grown produce, fresh flowers, artisan goods, and much more! Perfect atmosphere to capture your fall photos with the family and friends at the Pumpkin Patch which is sourced from local vendors around West Texas! Even better, this event is free!
- Pumpkin Patch at The Bridge – Pick pumpkins with the family and find fun photo opportunities! This pumpkin patch is set to open on October 5th!
- Pumpkins at Roots by Black Tulip Design – Find your pumpkins + fall plants at Roots at Roots by Black Tulip! Be sure to mark your calendar for their Dia de los Muertos Full Moon Party on Oct. 17th.

- The Legendary Barn Door Steakhouse & Pecos Depot Ghost – For a spooky night out, start with dinner at the iconic Barn Door restaurant. Then, take a short walk to the haunted Pecos Depot. This historic landmark, once a bustling train depot built by the Panhandle Santa Fe Railway in 1886, is said to be home to a ghostly presence.
